Jessica Newsome, MA,

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a compassionate  Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to working with families, couples, and individuals striving towards a healthy mental and emotional well-being. I focus my work on developing a safe-explorative environment to foster self-growth and connection with oneself and others, while also paying attention to the societal pressures that add complexity to one’s life.

My educational background in Family and Child Sciences and Marriage and Family Therapy have allowed me to fine-tune my skills in dealing with a multitude of issues. I have dedicated my training to adults and children experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, conduct disorders, mood disorders, developmental disabilities, relational issues and more.

My experiences working in community-based agencies conducting Intensive Outpatient services to troubled youth has allowed me to engage in strength-based interactive activities to mobilize youth into healthy behavioral patterns. Taking a systemic approach to therapy, I consider the multiple contexts an individual or family presents with, and further utilize it to instill hope and change. I am committed to walking with you on your journey to self-discovery, healing and growth.
