Pamela Mackie,
Ms, LAMFT
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
(She/her/hers)
Pamela earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She is currently working with a limited permit as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in New York and New Jersey. As a Prepare and Enrich Certified Facilitator, her therapy focuses on marital and premarital counsel, among other conditions of mental health attention, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. She is passionate about the power of relational mental health care and how it can benefit children/adolescents, couples, and families.
“We thrive through our relationships that are often influenced by our culture, environment, and communities in which we live and the circumstances that have informed or impeded our lives.”
Pamela’s Approach:
Pamela supports her clients by helping them unpack the narratives that have shaped their lives and
seeks to guide individuals toward recognizing the power they have to choose the life they want.
“Sometimes our path can lead us into a dense forest. And we can’t see through the trees. Our
stories leave us blocked with no vision or a clear path toward living the life we envisioned for
ourselves. My therapeutic process engages and explores a new narrative that is preferable and co-
authored by you! Let’s change the story that prohibits you from being who you want to be and in the relationships that bring you joy, happiness, and most importantly, LOVE!”
